I love these sandals so much I purchased them in several colors. The price is right and they are extremely comfortable. Ankle straps in flats are difficult to find. This sandal has it all.

Okay, I admit it. I hate wearing sandals that easily come off my feet. And since I'm not a ballet dancer but a working homemaker, sandals (and all shoes) have to be practical: I can't have them falling off my feet, twisting sideways so I fall or worse, or having a sole so thin that I can feel a pebble the size of a pea through them. And thongs are totally out for me. It's usually a matter of minutes before I kick something with them, and the thong between my toes is still between my toes, but no longer attached to the shoe!
In other words, like me, sandals have to work. But it sure is nice to find a pair that don't look they were stolen from my grandmother's closet.
The Circa Joan and David Nyx sandals are simply perfect. They are instantly comfortable (no breaking-in period; the ankle strap doesn't dig in, and it's firm enough to hold onto your foot with ease. The straps in the back of the shoe keep your heel firmly ensconced - no slipping or sliding! Bliss!
Oh, and I did mention these shoes go with everything (I bought black), they're supremely comfortable to walk in, and sexy as hell?
I bought these during an Amazon sale for around $42, or about half the current price. But believe me, even if you can't get such a deal (google the shoe name and see if you can get them cheaper), they're worth the bucks.

These shoes came in quickly, and are perfect! I love them! The are true to size, and the color is described very accurately; also they are perfect for casual wear! I can't wait to show them off!
