2Nice to look at, painful to walk in  Nov 19, 2009 By A. Hasas
I really wanted to like these, but they're highly uncomfortable. They look really cute: pretty color, glossy finish, decent heel height, and they fit really well...but not even 10 seconds after wearing them did I realize the shoe design is very flawed.

Something about the curve of the sole puts your feet in a very unnatural, super painful position. You can instantly feel lots of stinging pressure on the balls of your feet, and this doesn't go away. I inserted padded insoles, bought high heel-liner socks, and tried breaking in the shoes, but no luck. The pain just isn't worth it. I wear heels that are higher than these, and even those are more comfortable!

They look really cute on your feet, but they're not good for actually walking anywhere =/

1SO uncomfortable, even for heels!  Jan 17, 2011 By Fish
I should start by saying I'm not a super girly-girl, I'm actually more of a tomboy. I only wear heels on special occasions and even then I do it grudginly. However, I recently started a new job in a professional setting and so I embarked on the search for comfortable, office-appropriate heels. I saw these in a shoe store and thought they were really cute, plus they were on sale so I bought them.

BIG MISTAKE! They are so uncomfortable I cannot even believe they were allowed to leave the factory! Don't manufacturers test these things to make sure they are fit to be sold to customers? I don't plan on ever wearing these shoes again.

The shape of the shoe made my foot ache all day long, even when I wasn't standing up or walking around. Also, the shoe left a huge, painful blister on my heel that hurts constantly. I only wore these shoes for one work week (5 days, 8 hours a day), AND I was sitting at a desk all day. I can't imagine what the torture would have been like if I had a job where I had to be on my feet or walking around all day.

I originally thought it was just the burden of being a woman, of having to wear heels and work in an office, and resigned myself to living with the pain. But then I went back to the shoe store and bought a few other pairs of heels that have a similar shape, look, and heel height to these Madden Girl shoes, and they are much, MUCH more comfortable. So I can't really blame all heels for being this painful, only this pair.

The heels that I found that were more comfortable were the Wystere shoes by Anne Klein. They don't hurt at all, even the blister on the back of my foot from the Madden Girl shoes is not affected by the AK heels. They have a similar look and roughly the same heel height as these ones, but they are completely comfortable.

My recommendation--skip these shoes and hold out for more comfortable heels. I discovered that they do exist and I will not be getting rid of the Madden Girl shoes so I never have to be in that kind of pain again!

4Lovely  Jun 20, 2010 By Bookwormette
These shoes are beautiful! I loved them so much, that I ended up buying them in three colors: yellow, teal and black. They are comfortable, if you have the right size. I normally wear a 6.5, but my toes felt cramped, so I exchanged them for a 7, and all is well. I would definitely recommend ordering 1/2 size up if you are going to get these shoes.

5Beautiful dress-up shoes and comfortable.  Dec 30, 2009 By C. A. Diamond "amazon fan"
Bought these shoes for my daughter for Christmas. She wore them to work the next day. She is on her feet a lot and said they were very comfortable. The style is simple but elegant. And the color was just what she was looking for and matched the picture to a tee.

5Hot shoes, and comfy too!  Mar 13, 2011 By Mariposa
Nicely shaped shoe, very sexy and I love the round toe. Felt uncomfortable at first, but I put a cheap insole in and wore them dancing, and they were actually more comfortable than some of my other lower-heel shoes. Very easy to walk in, didn't slip, and very comfortable all night. Super happy about this shoe!!
