I purchased these in plum going on faith cause there were no reviews. They're great. They seem to hug my sensitive feet in just the right spots. I usually wear a 10 but I bought a 40 (9) and they seem to fit fine. I still have to get past the breaking-in part, but they're great already. The color is really pretty too. Its more like a deep amethyst to me than a plum color. It kinda has a mary jane feel to it too. A lot more girly than the standard Birkenstock clog.

I have 2X wide feet and regular width Birkenstocks have always been great for me to wear. I also wear the white classic clogs for work and I am on my feet for 12+hrs as a hospital nurse. I did not give these a solid 5 stars since footbed is a bit harder then the other Birks I have had. I don't believe in the "perfect" shoe since then I would have to stop buying any other kind of design/style shoe! Preposterious! They are cute and can be worn as an everyday shoe...which is what I do. I wear it with jeans and they depending on how long you wear your pants, the little opening on the top will be covered up. It is a nice and comfortable pair of shoes and I got it for a great deal.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock clogs. I wear a 5.5-6 and 1st ordered the 36 m which looked and felt very wide on my foot, exchanged for 36 n and they fit great! Love the look, remind me of my old Earth shoes!! Amazon has great prices and exchange was so simple.

I have had a pair of these shoes in black for three years and love them. Breaking them in was a non-issue. I put them on and they were instantly comfortable, cute, and they went with a lots of things in my wardrobe. I could wear them in virtually any kind of weather except for a snow storm and they served me well.
The style was neat so I ordered an identical pair in taupe about six months ago.The shoes had a tighter fit across the top of the shoe and I ended using a chemical shoe stretch to allow for more flexibility. The shoes had a breaking in period of about a week and are finally comfortable and I like them, but I have to note that this is the first time that I had this sort of problem initially with a Birkenstock style that was identical to another pair I owned.

I almost always wear birkenstocks, I'm a big fan. I have never had this type of clog before, though, and am very happy with this product. Sometimes I wear a narrow and sometimes a regular, and I chose to order the regulars, and I'm glad I did. I think the narrows would have been too narrow. I'm very happy with my new birks!
