I have bought MIA boots before and have enjoyed them. These boots, however, were so cheap looking I would have been embarrassed to wear them out. You won't be able to fool anyone into thinking these are real leather. I knew this going in. However, with synthetic boots, you expect a nice snug fit because of the elastic--not so with this boot. They were so loose in the ankle area and throughout the shaft, that they bulged out, drooping, and creating a very ugly silhouette.
Also, they arrived in a box that looked like it had been through a meat grinder, making it impossible to store the boots in the original box. Very unprofessional for the merchant. Don't waste your time.

This is the 2nd pair I have owned. First pair I wore so much that they were worn out, but they lasted over 2 years. VERY comfortable and looks great with skirts or jeans.
