Cute, but run small Aug 28, 2009

These are cute booties, love the vintage and kind of military style. They do look exactly like the picture. But, I found that they run small. I almost always wear a 6, sometimes with high heels, I even need a 5.5. I couldn't snap these! I have a high instep and arch, which could be the issue. I could have tried a larger size, but, since I ordered two styles at the same time, I decided to keep the other pair (Miz Mooz buttoned booties).

They look really nice and are true to size. They are not the most comfortable on the bed of the foot, especially if standing or walking a lot, but maybe one of those little footpads will do the trick.

I've never really worn too many Steve madden shoes but this pair of boots just drew me into the club.
It truly looks just as in the picture.
The fit is perfect (true to size), because of the peep toe it wasn't necessary to buy a half size larger.
It rises just about 3" above the ankle and there is just enough room to for your foot to breathe but still look sexy.
It's definitely a high quality leather boot which was well made.
The side buttons provide easy and quick access in and out of the boot and the stiletto heel (which is about 3 1/2") does the rest.
I went to a party and stood in this boot for about five (5) HOURS and didn't feel pain on the ball of my feet until the 4th hour.
Delivery from StreetModa was very fast (by 3 working days)
I am very, very happy with this purchase. :-D
