Not leather Nov 25, 2008 I bought this shoe thinking it was leather. No where on the shoe does it say leather made. I still is comfortable, and a good shoe for jeans.
Great sandal! Oct 09, 2008 I bought this sandal in pewter, and I'm so glad that I did! It goes with so many more clothes colors than I'd anticipated. The balls of my feet do not hurt at the end of the day after wearing these shoes (I have a desk job with sporadic walking around the office/building). I do put a flesh-colored bandage along the outside of each of my feet right near my little toes to protect from pinching, but I'm not sure if that's because of the way my feet are shaped or because of the shape of the shoe (one day I'll just attach a bit of moleskin to the inside of the shoe near those areas). The shoe is very light and fits true to size. The item description lists a "leather footbed" but the printing on the inside of the shoe says "manmade material" and doesn't mention anything about being leather. The footbed is still comfortable, though, and has padding throughout.
Dont buy in Silver Aug 11, 2008 I first bought this in silver color but it wasnt for me. I re-bought it in Pewter color which is pretty and prefect. Cant beat $16 for a pair of heels. These fit true to size. Perhaps you can go down 1/2 size if need be since the back is adjustable.
